Jonas Wilstrup, Convention Director - Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau

Jonas Wilstrup is the Convention Director in Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau since January 2014. One of his primary tasks is to cement Copenhagen's position as a leading meeting and convention city. Wonderful Copenhagen Convention Bureau is the official convention bureau of the greater Copenhagen area and is a non-profit organization offering free support to international associations and corporate meeting planners. Jonas Wilstrup is 38 years old and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen. Jonas has been working with sustainability for some time before his work at the CVB and has been strategically responsible for the eco-label “The Green Key”, which is one of the world's largest eco-labels within the hospitality industry. In Wonderful Copenhagen CVB, Jonas has been engaged in projects such as ICCA Scandinavia Sustainability Index, a benchmarking project across a number of cities.

Jonas Wilstrup will take part to EMEC16 educational session: The #BeeSustain Challenge: How To Drive Innovation and Enhance Meeting Quality and ROI Through Sustainability (and have FUN in the process)

In this highly interactive session, you will physically be taken through various stations to meet and engage with local experts in sustainability and corporate social responsibility, testing the level of your knowledge and commitment.

Those who are already working with CSR will enjoy peer-to-peer exchange, networking and inspirationsharing best practices. Novices will receive concrete tools to start working with CSR along with arguments in favor of sustainability that you can provide your boss/client. In general, the session will provide inputs on how to work strategically with CSR to achieve a heightened meeting experience, drive innovation and engagement, and maintain cost efficiency.
