At the EuBEA Festival the 90 shortlisted agencies presented live their projects to the Corporate Jury. The president of the jury, Klaus Andreas Span, Executive CoE Product Management Business Development IBM Power Systems EMEA, mentioned the high quality of the projects presented this year which made it difficult for the jury members to assign the awards.
Creativity linked to the client objectives, an integrated offline/online communication, stories about brands and values, were the elements that came from the presentations. Apart from the creativity we see a development in the digital communication to make the event live longer, with pre and post social media coverage. Hybrid events are more and more popular because they involve a larger audience and technology is an important factor for the event realisation.
Here are some comments from some of the EuBEA Festival jury members:
Luca Favetta, Senior Director Global Events and programs HP and MPI member “The live presentation is a key aspect for the Jury to clarify all aspects of the event in competition, including the emotional part”
Beatrice Carli Moretti, Head of Communications southern Europe, GlaxoSmithKline “It is also an education session for agencies to see the competitors presentations”
Björn Wigforss, Global Events Director & Head of Publishers, Microsoft “Creativity in the live presentation is important but do not have to interfere on the focus for the event itself”
Sven Theobald, Head of corporate events Bayer AG “Initiative like the Festival are important for a better communication between European Countries and give a better competitiveness to Europe itself in the event Industry”
