The MPI EMEC 15 planning team conducted a site inspection in Krakow with the local Host Committee who is deploying a huge amount of efforts to make the 2015 edition a great success.
Top Attraction and the premier tourist destination in Poland, today’s Krakow is a vibrant city, proud of its long and glorious history (Krakow dates back to the 7th century and was for many centuries the capital of the Polish kingdom), rich heritage, and architectural beauties.
Second largest city in Poland, Krakow is today a crucial center of business, culture, and education with 26 universities.
Krakow will soon be famous for its brand new Ice Krakow Congress Center, our home for the two and a half day EMEC from 1st to 3rd February 2015.
The soon-to-open Ice Krakow is a sleek and shiny building with lots of natural light and spectacular views of the beautiful Wawel Castle across the river; an interesting blend of modern and historic Krakow. You can take a virtual tour and see what the Ice Krakow has to offer but we strongly recommend you to experience it live during the EMEC conference next year.
Krakow is also famous for its myriad restaurants and nightspots but the welcome gala dinner will take place 100 meters below the ground in the amazing, unique in the world “Wieliczka Salt Mine”, an experience not to be missed as explained by Krzysztof Celuch, Head of Poland CVB and Chair of the Krakow Organizing Committee.
There are so many good reasons to join the EMEC 2015 in Krakow and one extra reason is the new Hosted Buyers Program for EMEC 2015 where 10 selected planners from the US and 15 European corporate planners will be invited to discover Krakow. More information for interested planners here.
The application process opens on Monday 13th of October. Learn more also about the suppliers program, which is a great way to enhance your business.
